IPF Atid is the young professionals network of Israel Policy Forum, an organization dedicated to advancing support for a viable two-state solution that safeguards Israeli security. It is a community comprised of informed and empowered young professionals working to advance a more pragmatic, nuanced conversation addressing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Ely Sandler is an Israel Policy Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School, where he is developing a new approach to cross-border cooperation on climate finance. His work has been adopted by the World Bank, who are now implementing Ely’s policy proposals in the Middle East ahead of COP28. Ely’s background is in finance, having worked at Morgan Stanley for nearly a decade across investment banking, capital markets, and senior management. Ely also has extensive experience in Track II diplomacy, using cooperation on issues such as climate change to build cross-border links in the Middle East. He has published on Jordan, Palestine, Israel, and other Middle Eastern countries, and has led private sector infrastructure projects in solar, agriculture and water technology. Ely is also a founding Board Member of 50:50 Startups, the non-profit tech accelerator for Israeli and Palestinian entrepreneurs. Ely graduated with distinction from the University of Oxford with a first class degree in Politics, Philosophy & Economics, and was previously a researcher at Oxford University’s Martin School.
