Inspired by the “chevruta” tradition in Judaism - an intimate approach to Talmudic study in which a small group of students meet regularly to analyze, discuss, and debate a shared text — we aim to facilitate connections among young professionals who are actively seeking to engage in thoughtful dialogue with fellow Atidniks around shared interests and topics related to Israel Policy Forum’s mission and values.

So how does it work? Atidniks can now sign up to be connected to other young professionals in our community based on shared interests, past program attendance, location, industry and more. Once connected by IPF Atid staff, Atidniks can take the networking into their own hands — Zoom schmoozing, becoming pen pals, or having coffee chats are just a few options. In this interest form, Atidniks can indicate how many people they’d like to be connected with and other considerations for staff; staff will facilitate making these connections on a rolling basis throughout the initiative's Spring pilot.

The IPF Atid staff will take your form response into account when assigning Chevruta pairings, and will do our best to find suitable connections for those who are interested.
